Estelle Metayer has accepted the invitation to serve on the board of Blockstream ( www.blockstream.io ) at the heart of the Silicon Valley – with a head office in Montreal. She will be the only independent director (but the second woman on the board ...).

In 2016, a Series A financing round of $ 55 million included Horizons Ventures, AXA Strategic Ventures, Digital Garage (VC firm in Tokyo by Joi Ito from MIT MediaLab), and existing investors AME Cloud Ventures, Blockchain Capital, Future\Perfect Ventures, Khosla Ventures, Mosaic Ventures, and Seven Seas Venture Partners.
